Forward to a Friend Header Sign the Petition - No Special Session After the Maryland General Assembly closed its annual 90-day session last week, we reported the good news that due to your efforts, O'Malley's gas and sales tax hike didn't pass. However, even though Annapolis politicians increased spending by $500 million - it wasn't enough for Gov. O'Malley. He wants to bring the legislature back for a "special session" to spend $500 million more of our money and raise taxes to pay for it. AFP Maryland is OPPOSED to a special session that will increase spending and pass new tax hikes. Help us send a message to Gov. O'Malley and the other out-of-touch Annapolis politicians by signing our "NO SPECIAL SESSION" petition. Sign the petition and pass it on to family, friends and co-workers - go to www.nospecialsession.com today! It seems too good to be true, but Annapolis may have cold feet when it comes to raising your taxes. If they had the political will to raise the income tax on struggling working class families, they would have already done so. Don't let them gain false political courage to gather for a special session - we can stop the spending spree now! Make sure you sign our petition telling Governor O'Malley and the legislature not to convene for a special session. Let's send a loud and clear message: NO more spending. NO new tax hikes. NO SPECIAL SESSION! Sincerely, Dave Schwartz Nick Loffer AFP-Maryland P.S. Make sure you share this petition online on our Facebook page!
