we have been watching our county going further down the wrong path.
The time to stand up for what you believe in is NOW.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!
You can help us in one of many ways. The simplest way is to educate
your self and become aware of what is going on. More than
anything we need people that are willing to take the next
step, people that are ready to take action. We need your hands,
feet, and mouths to donate time. Here is a list of 5 things
you can do:
1) We need people to attend our meetings. It is important to
stay connected and hear directly from members of the community,
from our politicians, and anyone else that has important
information to share. Share your ideas with the group.
2) Donate your time. We go to rallies, attend tea parties,
participate in petition drives, and stand out on corners. We attend
commissioner meetings and public hearings. We need to show up
in force to get our message out. We can always use one more
person. Write letters to the editor, articles for our monthly
newsletter, or help plan one of our events. We are always
busy and ALWAYS need volunteers. One hour per month of your
time makes a big difference!
3) Become a sponsor. We are always in need of places to hold
our meetings, buses to get us to events, bumper stickers to put on
cars, and countless other things. If you can help us, we will do
our best to return the favor and recognize you at our meetings and
on our website. If you own a business, and could put out our flyers
advertising our meetings and events, that would be an enormous
help! If you have any other ideas of how you can help,
please let us know.
4) Donate money. Everything we do is funded by our members;
the more funding we can get, the more events we can attend; the
more fliers and advertisments we can get printed; and the more our
message can get out.
5)Tell everyone you know about us. Simply put the more
people we can get behind us the bigger difference we can make.
Remember we are a grassroots organization, so everything we do
starts with YOU getting involved.
