9 Principles, 12 Values

The 9 Principles
1. America Is Good.
2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.
3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.
4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.
5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.
6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.
7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.
8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.
9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

The 12 Values
* Honesty
* Reverence
* Hope
* Thrift
* Humility
* Charity
* Sincerity
* Moderation
* Hard Work
* Courage
* Personal Responsibility
* Gratitude

WHO WE ARE:

OUR MISSION AND BELIEFS

We are dedicated Cecil County citizens that believe that education and participation in the political arena are crucial to returning our country to its founding principles. Cecil County Patriots provides a venue for like-minded citizens in Cecil County to join together and pool resources, ideas, and talent as we work to preserve the American dream for our children and grandchildren.

WE ARE:

* NOT affiliated with any political party
* NOT compromising our stated principles as Cecil County Patriots.
* We are endorsing a principled platform. When our elected officials govern by our principles, we will support them. When they do not, we will stand opposed to their actions.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe in the limited power of government as expressed in the Declaration of Independence and defined in our Constitution, and the need for citizens to actively protect the individual rights and responsibilities of all Americans. We believe that the government is accountable to the people, and not the ruler of the people.

How to Get Involved:
Attend our regularly-scheduled meetings in Cecil County; stay informed with local national news; participate in rallies; contact your Legislators; submit letters to the editor; and display lawn signs. Create awareness by speaking to your family, neighbors, friends, and co-workers. Overcome political correctness – don’ be afraid to speak out! The challenge this generation faces is probably the greatest “crisis” since the Revolution and demands bold, fearless, and unwavering participation from our patriotic citizens. We all gain strength and inspiration from one another; let’s forge ahead with one voice, one vision – Protect Our Constitution!

Outreach:  Spread the Word about our Group
On the CCP Publications page, there is a brochure describing our group. Please copy and distribute to your community. Reach out to at least one person you know this week and invite them to visit our website and/or come to our next meeting. Also, there are outreach letters directed at segments of the population who may want to join our efforts: Veterans & Neighbors. Please copy these and distribute them in your environment: your neighborhood, PTA meetings, small businesses you frequent, clubs or other organizations in which you participate, etc.  Newsletters are also available; copy the latest newsletter to begin dialogue with your neighbors about current local, state, and national issues.
